Back in the Day, it was really cool listening to that Robotic sound. So that was the beginning of Electro-funk
This is how rap and Hip-hop use to be, you can really see how times and attitudes have changed.
All the grooves I came upon. Just keeping it real and pure. Going out to those who can appreciate real Hip-Hop from the beginning.
What you are seeing in front of your screen is the real B-boys I came up listening to. lf you were Hip Hopping when I was coming up this was 1 of the Best Jams coming out of New York. It feels like the people who were there get left out of everything. But for us who came up off this forever Hip Hop, we lived this stuff and we will die in Hip Hop. I remember having to go to the Record store and look for sugarhill records. I started mixing this jam in 1979 and 1980 as a young kid in Jr High.
I remember every time I got back in New York I would have my tape recorder ready for the Friday and Saturday Night mix. If you had 1 of these tapes you were in heaven where I come from. Going out to everybody who understands where I am coming from.
